Terms

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026. These Terms apply to VitaLab and to VitaLab Social, VitaLab's social media publishing and distribution tool.

Introduction

VitaLab is an independent wellness publication. VitaLab Social is VitaLab's social media publishing and distribution tool. By using either service, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.

Acceptable use

You must not use VitaLab or VitaLab Social for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, harmful, spammy, abusive, or platform-prohibited activity. You must not attempt to bypass security controls, access accounts you are not authorized to use, or interfere with the operation of the service.

Third-party platform and API dependencies

VitaLab Social depends on third-party services such as social platforms, platform APIs, OAuth providers, publishing providers, AI providers, hosting providers, and analytics or security services. Your use of connected accounts and publishing features is also governed by the rules, terms, policies, permissions, and availability of those third-party services.

User responsibility for published content

You are responsible for the text, media, claims, links, hashtags, scheduling choices, and other content you create, generate, edit, approve, publish, or schedule through VitaLab Social.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content complies with applicable law, advertising rules, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, health-claim rules, and the policies of each connected platform. AI-generated drafts should be reviewed before publishing.

Platform decisions and service availability

VitaLab does not guarantee that Google, YouTube, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Postmill, OpenAI, or any other third-party service will accept, publish, deliver, display, keep online, or provide analytics for any content.

VitaLab and VitaLab Social may be unavailable, delayed, changed, interrupted, or discontinued. We may update, suspend, or limit features where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, platform requirements, or service changes.

Account access and suspension

If VitaLab Social provides account access, we may suspend or restrict access if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, misused connected platform permissions, or used the service in a way that may harm VitaLab, other users, or third-party platforms.

Intellectual property

VitaLab owns or licenses the VitaLab website, branding, design, editorial content, and software elements. You retain responsibility for content you submit or publish, but you grant VitaLab the permission needed to process, format, transmit, publish, schedule, and display that content to provide VitaLab Social.

Privacy and data deletion

The handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Users can request deletion of data associated with VitaLab Social through the Data Deletion Instructions page or by contacting info@vitalab.blog.

Disclaimers

VitaLab content is provided for general informational and educational purposes and is not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. VitaLab Social is provided as a publishing workflow tool and does not guarantee audience growth, engagement, revenue, compliance approval, or platform acceptance.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VitaLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or similar losses, including lost profits, lost data, account restrictions, platform removals, rejected posts, or third-party service failures. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to VitaLab's establishment in Spain and the European Union, unless mandatory consumer protection or data protection rules require otherwise. Disputes should first be raised with VitaLab so we can try to resolve them informally.

Changes

VitaLab may update these Terms as the website, VitaLab Social, third-party platform requirements, or legal obligations change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
